A new method to update older versions of Windows is now available.
Named ‘Legacy Update’, it is a modification which restores installing Windows updates on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1. This has been confirmed working as of June, 2023.
Unfortunately, when migrating the downloads to another file host, I had forgotten to update the download link to the Vista pack and the old link became broken. This has now been fixed. The Vista pack should now be available for download once again.
You can now download the recovery disks for some models from the Internet Archive. This makes it easier to obtain a set and more VAIO UX models are now supported (previously only 380N, now 180P, 230N, 280N and 380/390N).
